Holy cow. This is THE BEST Mexican restaurant in New Jersey hands down. We ordered the gorditas (off menu), Birria tacos, burros, queso, and guac two separate times and left no crumbs. The service is amazing and everyone is so friendly. Gaspar, the chef, is so kind and Ingrid is wonderful as well!! Just moved into town and I’m obsessed with this place! PLS CHECK IT OUT. Also the prices.... Phenomenal.

This is a cute little gem that open up two months ago. The restaurant has been renamed to 'The Mictlan' and the new owners are from la Cuidad de Mexico. I ordered Tacos De Birria that were so delicious, highly recommend it. Nice red salsa with chips as appetizer. La salsa verde is good but could use a bit more spices.

Me and my fiance stumbled upon this place while looking for a quick dinner. We loved how intimate it felt, the food was delicious, & the server was attentive! We just vibed and ate, so glad to have found this hidden gem. Definitely coming back!

Delish! We had nachos, birria tacos ,the molcajete and lots of yummy drinks. All were good. I especially appreciated their nachos app -Last week my friends were talking about how Mexican restaurants often provide nacho towers with stacked piles of nachos, which look cool, but only the top layer gets cheese. the mictlan solve this, spreading out the chips so that all get the flavor, as you'll see in the photo. Loved also the molcajete was so good it comes with steak, chorizo , shrimp, chicken ,rajas ,grilled cheese, jalapeno and tortillas to build your own tacos, it can easily feed two people and let me tell you something THE BEST BIRRiA TACOS i ever had!!! Highly recommended

We love this place! The food is wonderful—everything from the queso fundido, to the salsa to the house hot sauces. Al pastor tostadas are a new favorite, and my partner is addicted to the steak quesadillas. They make a damn good margarita (try w hibiscus) and have delicious horchata and agua frescas. It’s been quiet in there but check it out because it doesn’t disappoint to have the food fresh from the kitchen, friendly service, and great music. We’ll be back again and again!

This is the place to go if you want tasty, authentic mexican food the best margarita on this side of the hudson! Lots of vegetarian options and meat lovers will also have all desires fulfilled. Been here several times and tried different dishes - awesome taste down the line! Small place, but cozy. Highly recommended!
